The Role The successful candidate will support a wide range of clients in managing property portfolios, projects and transactions. The role involves delivering expert advice on design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment across sectors including commercial, education, residential, leisure, and healthcare. Key Responsibilities Conducting building and measured surveys Ensuring buildings comply with current building regulations and technical standards Preparing site particulars, specifications, cost estimates, and maintenance schedules Administering contracts for maintenance and refurbishment work Identifying and reporting on building defects Managing claims and negotiations with loss adjusters, including preparing remedial specifications and drawings Preparing schedules of dilapidations for land and buildings Requirements Demonstrable experience in a similar building surveying role Strong understanding of construction methods, regulations, and best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously The Opportunity This role offers the chance to expand technical expertise, develop professionally, and contribute to a growing and successful team.
