An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conservation / Heritage Building Surveyor to join a well-established, multidisciplinary property team in Cirencester. This role offers genuine leadership potential and can be appointed at Associate Director or Director level depending on experience.
 
You will be joining an office of circa 30 professionals across Estate Management, Consultancy (Valuation), Food & Farming, Forestry and Natural Capital. With an extensive client list already in place, the successful candidate will benefit from multiple internal opportunities, while also being expected to bring or generate new work as part of their remit.
 
The Role
This position is perfect for an experienced Building Surveyor with a passion for heritage, conservation and traditional buildings, ready to operate at a senior level and shape the future of a new offering within the business.
You will be responsible for:
  • Delivering high-quality building surveying services with a focus on conservation and heritage assets.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio.
  • Leading and expanding the service line, with a view to building and mentoring a team over time.
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities in both the private and institutional sectors.
  • Working closely with internal teams across multiple disciplines to leverage cross-referral opportunities.
Key Requirements
  • MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor with a strong background in conservation and heritage projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-calibre advice and services in a client-facing environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to grow a service line.
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to win and retain work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
