About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Milton Keynes office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing construction projects within a consultancy environment, delivering schemes across various sectors - mainly within the Retail and Healthcare sectors.

You will take ownership of multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop within a supportive, forward-thinking consultancy that actively encourages mentoring and progression towards chartership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver multiple construction projects from feasibility through to completion.

  • Act as the key client interface, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.

  • Develop project execution plans and ensure adherence to agreed timescales and budgets.

  • Lead procurement processes, tender evaluations, and contract administration.

  • Manage project risk, change control, and reporting procedures.

  • Coordinate design teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory, health & safety, and quality requirements.

  • Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional development.

  • Maintain and enhance client relationships and seek opportunities for business growth.

The Person

  • Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

  • Ideally Chartered (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM) or actively working towards chartership.

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ project management experience within a consultancy environment.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts (JCT)

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong commercial and technical awareness.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
