The Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Project Management to lead and grow our occupier-focused Project Management offering in London. This is a senior leadership role within a market-leading real estate and construction consultancy, working with high-profile clients across financial institutions, professional services and technology sectors.
The role combines client-facing delivery, team leadership, and business development, with a strong emphasis on delivering complex, fast-paced occupier projects from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Delivery

Lead the delivery of occupier-led projects, including office fit-outs, refurbishments, relocations and workplace transformation programmes

Act as the senior client contact, building trusted advisor relationships at board and senior stakeholder level

Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery against time, cost, quality and risk objectives

Provide strategic project advice including procurement strategy, programme management, governance and reporting

Manage complex stakeholder environments, including client teams, designers, contractors and landlords
Leadership & Team Management

Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers

Set performance standards, support professional development and build a high-performing team culture

Play a key role in resource planning, succession planning and talent retention
Business Development & Growth

Drive growth of the occupier Project Management portfolio in London

Support and lead fee generation, bid submissions and client pitches

Leverage existing client relationships and develop new opportunities across target sectors

Collaborate closely with other service lines including Building Consultancy, Cost Management and Agency
Governance & Commercial Oversight

Maintain strong commercial discipline across projects, including fee management and risk control

Ensure compliance with internal governance, quality assurance and professional standards

Contribute to wider operational and strategic initiatives within the business
Skills & Experience
Essential
-
Proven experience operating at Director or Associate Director level within a construction or real estate consultancy

Strong background in occupier project management, particularly within corporate office environments

Demonstrable experience delivering projects for financial services, professional services and/or technology clients

Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

Commercially astute with a track record of winning work and growing accounts

Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams
Desirable

Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM or equivalent)

Experience working on complex, fast-track or high-spec corporate environments

Existing London-based client network
