Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple healthcare projects (new builds, refurbishments, upgrades) from inception to completion
- Lead client, consultant, and contractor engagement throughout the lifecycle
- Prepare project briefs, scopes of work, and manage procurement
- Ensure project delivery aligns with time, cost, quality, and compliance objectives (HTM/HBN standards)
- Oversee risk, change control, stakeholder reporting, and programme management
- Support funding applications and business case development where required
- Conduct post-occupancy evaluations and lessons-learned reviews
Essential:
- Proven experience managing construction projects in a healthcare or similarly complex, regulated sector
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of HTMs/HBNs or willingness to learn
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle (RIBA stages)
- Relevant degree (e.g., Construction, Project Management, Building Surveying)
- Full UK driving license
- Professional membership: MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or similar
- Experience working on NHS schemes or ProCure frameworks
- Prince2, APM PMQ or equivalent qualification
