Key Responsibilities:
- Support field-based Loss Adjusters in handling high-value and complex domestic property claims.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence on allocated claims, ensuring timely and accurate updates to all stakeholders.
- Maintain electronic files to a high auditable standard, including claim documentation and reports.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments, clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, schedules, and formal claim communications.
- Attend site visits when required to take minutes, photographs, or statements and assist in claim planning.
- Proactively manage claims and provide technical input, escalating when appropriate.
- Ensure all time and activities are recorded accurately, with a high proportion of chargeable hours.
- Experience in property insurance claims, ideally within major or complex loss environments.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency with IT systems and document management platforms.
