Key Responsibilities:

  • Support field-based Loss Adjusters in handling high-value and complex domestic property claims.

  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence on allocated claims, ensuring timely and accurate updates to all stakeholders.

  • Maintain electronic files to a high auditable standard, including claim documentation and reports.

  • Liaise effectively with internal departments, clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.

  • Assist in the preparation of reports, schedules, and formal claim communications.

  • Attend site visits when required to take minutes, photographs, or statements and assist in claim planning.

  • Proactively manage claims and provide technical input, escalating when appropriate.

  • Ensure all time and activities are recorded accurately, with a high proportion of chargeable hours.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in property insurance claims, ideally within major or complex loss environments.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Proficiency with IT systems and document management platforms.

  • Customer-focused with a proactive and empathetic approach to claims handling.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
