Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out measured surveys and producing floor plans, elevations and details using AutoCAD
- Conducting building surveys including condition surveys, schedules of condition and defect diagnosis inspections
- Supporting project work including design, statutory consent applications, tender documents, monitoring projects and administering contracts
- Undertaking building pathology inspections, identifying defects, proposing solutions and estimating costs and timescales
- Assisting with property management activities such as planned maintenance programmes and elemental cost estimates
- Contributing to CDM services including pre-construction information and health and safety files (desirable)
- BSc or BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying (RICS-accredited) or working towards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and measured surveys
- Knowledge of refurbishment and alteration of existing buildings
- Previous consultancy experience preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Salary up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience
