As a Graduate Building Surveyor based in Manchester, you will assist in conducting building surveys, dilapidations assessments, schedules of condition, and support the preparation of technical reports and cost appraisals. You will work closely with senior surveyors on a variety of projects across multiple sectors, gaining valuable experience in contract administration, project management, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake professional instructions including dilapidations, technical due diligence acquisition surveys, schedules of condition, planned preventative maintenance surveys, and reinstatement cost assessments.
  • Advise clients on building and property issues, covering technical, financial, legal, environmental/sustainability, building regulation, and restoration matters.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Participate in networking events and professional development activities.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to pursuing RICS chartership through the APC route.
