About the Role As part of this role, you will:
- Conduct building surveys, dilapidations assessments, and schedules of condition.
- Prepare technical reports and cost appraisals.
- Assist with contract administration and project management.
- Engage closely with clients and stakeholders to understand and deliver project requirements.
- Work collaboratively with senior surveyors and multidisciplinary teams across a diverse range of property sectors.
- Manage professional instructions including dilapidations, due diligence acquisition surveys, schedules of condition, planned preventative maintenance surveys, and reinstatement cost assessments.
- Provide advice on building and property issues covering technical, financial, legal, environmental/sustainability, building regulation, and restoration matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Participate in professional development activities and networking opportunities.
- Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant survey software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to pursuing RICS chartership through the APC route.
