We are seeking a Graduate or Intermediate Building Surveyor to join our team across several key UK locations: Manchester, London, Bristol, Leeds, and Newcastle.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern, allowing flexibility between office and home working, and a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.

About the Role As part of this role, you will:
  • Conduct building surveys, dilapidations assessments, and schedules of condition.
  • Prepare technical reports and cost appraisals.
  • Assist with contract administration and project management.
  • Engage closely with clients and stakeholders to understand and deliver project requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with senior surveyors and multidisciplinary teams across a diverse range of property sectors.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage professional instructions including dilapidations, due diligence acquisition surveys, schedules of condition, planned preventative maintenance surveys, and reinstatement cost assessments.
  • Provide advice on building and property issues covering technical, financial, legal, environmental/sustainability, building regulation, and restoration matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Participate in professional development activities and networking opportunities.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant survey software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to pursuing RICS chartership through the APC route.
