Due to continued growth, the company is looking to recruit Compartmentation Surveyors at various levels to join its expanding team. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality fire compartmentation surveys and supporting clients in understanding and managing passive fire risks within occupied buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake fire compartmentation surveys across a variety of building types

  • Inspect passive fire protection measures including fire stopping, cavity barriers, and fire doors

  • Identify defects and non-compliance in relation to current legislation and guidance

  • Produce clear, accurate, and technically robust survey reports

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal technical teams

  • Support the development of remedial strategies where required

  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with relevant standards, legislation, and best practice

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in passive fire protection, building surveying, or a related discipline

  • Previous compartmentation surveying experience is advantageous but not essential (training provided)

  • Fire risk assessment experience is desirable but not required

  • Strong technical understanding of fire safety principles and building construction

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently

  • Full UK driving licence preferred
