We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Major and Complex Loss Adjuster to join a specialist Major and Complex Loss team covering the London and Southeast region. If you enjoy solving complex problems, supporting clients through challenging situations, and delivering exceptional service, this role is ideal for you.

 

The Role

As a Major and Complex Loss Adjuster, you will manage a portfolio of high-value commercial property claims, including:

• Material Damage
• Business Interruption

You will lead the end-to-end claims process from initial investigation through to final settlement, acting as the trusted expert for clients and stakeholders.

This position includes a mix of independent fieldwork and collaborative team work, supported by Adjusting Executives and technical specialists. Whether you are on site assessing damage or preparing reports remotely, you will play a key role in meeting client expectations and delivering excellent service.

 

What You Will Bring

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong customer focus with evidence of delivering exceptional service
• Experience handling major and complex commercial property claims
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively
• Confidence managing your own caseload independently
• Proactive and solutions focused approach with strong prioritisation skills
• Good IT skills, ideally including Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• ACII or ACILA qualifications, or working towards them
• Professional and empathetic approach to client relationships
• Experience in account management or market profiling is an advantage
