Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Cost Manager to lead cost management services across a diverse portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will take ownership of all cost-related aspects, from feasibility through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full cost management services including cost planning, estimates, tender documentation, procurement advice, and contract administration.
  • Lead the preparation of feasibility studies, cost estimates, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Manage project finances and contractual relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Undertake risk and value management, cost control, and change management throughout project lifecycles.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, ensuring clients are fully informed at all stages.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional development within the cost management team.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business growth.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • MRICS qualification (or working towards chartership).
  • Proven track record in cost management on complex construction projects, ideally in the commercial, residential, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly NEC and JCT forms.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
