Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:Oversee the planning and execution of retail and leisure projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Building Surveys:Conduct comprehensive building surveys, prepare detailed reports, and provide expert recommendations on findings.
- Contract Administration:Manage contract administration duties throughout project lifecycles, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, and external consultants to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.
- Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all projects comply with current building regulations, health and safety standards, and other statutory requirements.
- Mentorship:Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors MRICS or MCIOB is highly desirable though not essential.
- Proven experience in building surveying, preferably within the retail and leisure sectors, though not essential.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Excellent knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and contract administration.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools.
