We are seeking a highly capableFire Engineer (or Senior Fire Engineer for those with extensive experience) to join our Clients dynamic UK consultancy offering expert fire safety solutions. This position can be fully remote, or based in their London office — the choice is yours.

Key Responsibilities
Create and deliver design fire strategies, including retrospective assessments, CFD and evacuation modelling.
Conduct fire safety assurance, perform site inspections, compartmentation surveys, cavity-barrier and façade reviews.
Compile and maintain Building Safety Cases, EWS1 certification, Fire Risk Assessments and external wall appraisals (PAS 9980).
Provide third-party peer review of fire strategy documentation and technical design.
Liaise with clients, architects, building control and contractors; ensure compliance with regulations and standards (e.g., Approved Document B, BS 9999/9991).
Support business growth, contribute to proposals, and assist with mentorship of junior team members.
Required Skills & Experience
Degree (BEng/BSc/MSc) in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, or related engineering discipline.
Full or working towards membership with Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE).
Experience (typically 3+ years for Fire Engineer, 6+ years for Senior level) in consultancy producing fire strategies, risk assessments, CFD, etc.
Proficiency in using CFD/evacuation tools, strong analytical, numerical, and report-writing skills.
Thorough understanding of UK building regulations and relevant British Standards.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and ability to manage multiple projects.
