Fire Engineer & Senior Fire Engineer

Rotate Recruitment is currently supporting a leading independent consultancy within the built environment that is looking to appoint Fire Engineers and Senior Fire Engineers to join their growing London team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering high-quality fire engineering and fire safety consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects within both the public and private sectors.

The Role

As a Fire Engineer / Senior Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering fire engineering and fire safety consultancy services across a broad client base.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering fire engineering services across multiple projects

  • Providing fire safety advice and guidance to clients and project teams

  • Conducting site visits and providing consultancy services where required

  • Liaising with enforcing authorities on behalf of clients

  • Supporting bid submissions and project reporting

  • Advising clients on fire safety legislation, standards and best practice

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Senior candidates will also have the opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the fire consultancy service.

The team provides a wide range of fire safety consultancy services, including:

  • Fire Engineering Services

  • Fire Compartmentation Surveys

  • Fire Quality Monitoring

  • Fire Remediation Project / Programme Management

  • Fire Risk Assessments

  • Building Safety & Building Safety Act Management

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum Level 5 qualification in Fire Engineering or a related discipline

  • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and regulations

  • Experience delivering technically robust fire engineering solutions

  • Membership of IFE / IFSM (or working towards)

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills

  • Ability to manage workloads and deliver projects to deadlines

For Senior Fire Engineers, experience managing complex projects and mentoring junior team members would be highly beneficial.

Salary & Benefits

£45,000 – £75,000 depending on experience and level
