This field-based position is located in the Glasgow area and offers the chance to work with a leading insurance services provider that is committed to fraud detection and resolution.

In this role, you will independently manage investigations from end to end — planning and conducting interviews, gathering and analysing evidence, and liaising with brokers, contractors, and law enforcement. You will be expected to produce detailed reports, issue formal outcome letters, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while maintaining exceptional customer service.

This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for an experienced insurance professional with a strong background in commercial claims and a proactive, investigative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed investigations including policyholder interviews, site visits, and evidence gathering.
  • Work collaboratively with brokers, contractors, and external agencies including law enforcement.
  • Ensure investigations are progressed in a timely manner with accurate documentation throughout.
  • Produce clear and professional reports and decision letters.
  • Adhere to industry best practices, company protocols, and FCA guidelines.
  • Represent the Client professionally in all stakeholder communications.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, including business interruption and property claims.
  • Proven experience handling fraud or complex claims investigations.
  • Familiarity with current case law, statutes, and insurance principles including indemnity.
  • Understanding of construction and building practices to support claim assessment.
  • Skilled in identifying, securing, and recording investigative evidence.
  • Confident IT user with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including FCA regulations and GDPR.
  • Experience in complaints handling and resolution processes.
