We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join a supportive and collaborative team delivering a wide range of professional and project-led building surveying services. This role offers real autonomy, clear progression opportunities and exposure to varied, technically engaging work across commercial property.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake building condition surveys, defect diagnosis and measured surveys
Prepare high-quality technical reports, schedules of condition and dilapidations
Lead and deliver projects from inception through to completion
Provide project management and contract administration services
Carry out building pathology assessments and feasibility studies
Liaise confidently with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders
Ensure all work complies with RICS standards and industry best practice
Contribute to client development and repeat business opportunities
Mentor APC candidates and junior team members where required
Requirements
Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
MRICS Chartered status
Strong technical knowledge of buildings, construction methods and defects
Proven experience delivering professional and project surveying services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple instructions and deadlines effectively
IT proficient (Microsoft Office and relevant surveying software)
Proactive, client-focused and commercially aware
