We’re looking for a skilled Building Consultant for the Yorkshire & Midlands region to manage a portfolio of domestic and commercial subsidence claims from start to finish. The role involves identifying structural defects, recommending repairs, and guiding mitigation measures—either through remote assessments or site visits within your local area.
What We’re Looking For:
Driving License: Full UK license, as you must be able to travel by car for site visits.
Professional Qualifications: Ideally working towards or already holding a chartered building qualification (e.g., MCIOB, MRICS, MICE)
Insurance Knowledge: Insurance-related qualifications (e.g., CILA, CII) are desirable
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of structural defects, subsidence issues, drainage systems, and repair methodologies
Claims Handling: Previous insurance claims handling experience is a plus—training will be provided if needed
Communication Skills: Confident decision-maker with a focus on delivering excellent service and clear communication
