Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive building surveying services including:
- Dilapidations, technical due diligence, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), defect analysis, and reinstatement cost assessments
- Overseeing refurbishment and maintenance projects as both project manager and contract administrator
- Leverage your existing client relationships to secure new instructions and build long-term business partnerships
- Identify and convert business development opportunities through your own professional network
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment
- Contribute strategically to internal business growth initiatives and overall team success
- MRICS qualified with a minimum of 2 years PQE in building surveying, ideally with experience in a consultancy or client-side environment
- Demonstrable business development skills and a proven track record of generating fee income
- Existing client relationships that you can seamlessly bring into the role
- Excellent commercial awareness, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing or mentoring junior colleagues (particularly for Associate-level candidates)
- A proactive, self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
