Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex construction projects from inception through to handover. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of project lifecycles from planning and design through procurement, delivery and completion and the capability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project performance.
The successful candidate will report directly to senior leadership and will play a pivotal role in maintaining client relationships, mitigating risks and ensuring projects are executed to high standards.


Key Responsibilities
● Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client objectives
and approved budgets.
● Develop, implement and monitor project plans, programme schedules and cash flow
forecasts.
● Act as a primary client interface, producing regular reports, updates and insights.
● Coordinate internal teams and external consultants to deliver cohesive project
outcomes.

● Identify and manage project risks, issues and change control processes.
● Support the preparation and implementation of project execution plans and strategic
documentation.
● Maintain strong technical oversight, including the review of design submissions and
technical submittals.

About You – Essential Requirements
● 5+ years’ experience in project management within a built-environment consultancy.
● Strong residential sector experience including BTR, PBSA, Co-Living, Affordable and
Private Sale projects.
● Proven experience managing projects valued £50m–£70m, with exposure to
schemes up to £250m+.
● Proficiency in planning (e.g., Microsoft Project), development cash flow management
and project execution planning.
● Experience reporting directly to clients and preparing high-quality project
management reports.
● Technical competency in reviewing design information and construction-related
documentation.
● Understanding of gateway processes such as BSR (or equivalent).

Preferred (But Not Mandatory)
● Line management experience.
● Experience in cost management and Employer’s Agent roles.
● Exposure to integrated project delivery environments.
