The Role As a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering expert consultancy services to a diverse client base. You’ll lead projects from inception to completion, manage key client relationships, and actively shape the future direction of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake building surveys, inspections, and detailed reporting across multiple property types
- Deliver core professional services including dilapidations, party wall matters, schedules of condition, and planned maintenance
- Lead on contract administration and project management for refurbishment and new-build schemes
- Provide strategic advice on asset management, defect diagnosis, and technical due diligence
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring service excellence
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing
- MRICS qualified (or working towards) with proven consultancy experience
- Broad technical expertise across a range of property sectors
- Strong track record in delivering both professional services and project work
- Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills
- Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ambitious, with a clear drive to progress into leadership
- Salary up to £75,000 DOE
