We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Oxford office of a globally renowned property consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in delivering complex and high-value projects across sectors such as commercial, education, residential, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will manage projects from inception to completion, providing expert guidance to clients and ensuring exceptional outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of complex and high-profile projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage and coordinate project teams, including internal colleagues, consultants, and contractors, to achieve seamless delivery.
  • Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, from feasibility and design through to construction and handover.
  • Prepare and monitor project programmes, budgets, risk registers, and reports.
  • Support procurement processes, including tendering, contract administration, and negotiation.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and contribute to the growth of the business.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Degree in construction, project management, surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Ideally, chartered status (e.g., MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB) or working towards professional accreditation.
  • Significant experience managing construction or property-related projects, with a proven track record of successful delivery.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets and controlling costs effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant project management tools and software.
