Our client is a highly respected, independent consultancy specialising in property and construction advisory, partnering with owners, occupiers, developers and funders across the UK. With a collaborative, professional and people-first culture, they are now seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to join their growing London team.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of Commercial, Industrial and Retail projects – from complex refurbishments and CAT A / CAT B fit-outs to new-build developments – while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business growth.
Main Responsibilities
Lead full lifecycle project delivery across Commercial, Industrial and Retail sectors, overseeing multiple projects concurrently.
Act as the primary client interface, managing relationships, setting expectations, and ensuring excellence in project delivery.
Manage and coordinate consultant and contractor teams, covering tendering, procurement, cost control, risk management, programming, health & safety and reporting.
Administer JCT and NEC contracts, maintain risk registers, and ensure seamless collaboration between design, cost and construction teams.
Provide strategic input to clients, advising on feasibility, value engineering and project optimisation.
Mentor and support junior project managers, promoting best practice and helping to develop team capability.
Contribute to business development, attending client meetings, supporting bids, and identifying opportunities to strengthen and expand client relationships.
Champion continuous improvement, helping to refine delivery processes and enhance team performance.
Key Requirements
5+ years’ experience in a consultancy project management environment, with demonstrable delivery across Commercial, Industrial and/or Retail projects.
Proven experience managing refurbishments, CAT A / CAT B fit-outs, façade or new-build schemes through to completion.
Excellent understanding of contract administration (JCT / NEC) and strong commercial management skills.
Outstanding client-facing ability, with experience engaging confidently with senior stakeholders.
Commercially astute, proactive and driven with a track record of delivering value and exceeding expectations.
Professional qualification (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent) preferred; support provided for candidates actively working toward accreditation.
