Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver innovative fire safety strategies in line with UK regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct fire risk assessments and provide expert fire engineering advice to clients and project teams.
- Use fire modelling and analysis tools (e.g., FDS, PyroSim) to support design decisions.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to integrate fire safety solutions into projects.
- Support junior engineers through mentorship and technical guidance.
- Contribute to research, technical development, and industry best practices.
- Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation, building regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in fire modelling and risk assessment tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant professional body (e.g., IFE, CEng).
