Our client, a leading real-estate / construction consultancy, is expanding its team and seeks an experienced and motivated Senior Associate Project Manager to join its dynamic Project Management division in the London region. This is a pivotal role in delivering high-value and varied refurbishment, fit-out and new-build projects across commercial, retail, industrial and residential sectors. Working closely with senior leadership, you will be encouraged to drive business development, deepen client relationships and shape your own specialism within the business.
Main Responsibilities
- End-to-end project management of medium to large scale commercial refurbishment, fit-out and new-build projects, including managing tenders/bids, contractor procurement, programme management, cost control, quality assurance, health & safety and reporting. 
- Lead fit-out projects across CAT A & CAT B office spaces, retail and industrial units, high-end residential amenity spaces and complex laboratory or technical fit-outs. 
- Act as the face of the business to clients, developing and sustaining strong relationships, and helping to extend the service offering and secure repeat business. 
- Line-manage and mentor junior project team members, fostering development and supporting a high-performing team culture. 
- Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and cross-discipline teams (surveying, ESG, engineering, asset management) to ensure seamless service delivery. 
- Support business development initiatives including attendance at industry events, client meetings, presentations and networking to help grow the project management offering. 
- Take ownership, demonstrate proactive leadership and contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes and company culture. 
Key Requirements
- Significant experience managing project management assignments across commercial real-estate refurbishment/fit-out/new build projects (office, retail, industrial). 
- Proven track-record of delivering large projects (£20 million+ value) or equivalent complex programmes. 
- Commercially minded with a strong business development mindset; ability to cross-sell services and identify new opportunities. 
- Professional qualification (e.g., MRICS, MAPM) or demonstrable ability and desire to achieve within the near-term. 
- Strong client-facing skills, excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities. 
- Ability to take leadership and ownership of end-to-end project delivery, work independently and hit the ground running. 
- Previous experience of line-management or mentoring of team members is advantageous.
