Our client is a respected, independent consultancy specialising in property and construction advisory, supporting owners, occupiers, developers and funders across the UK. With a collaborative, professional culture, they’re now looking to appoint a Project Manager to join their busy London team and deliver a portfolio of Commercial, Industrial and Retail projects including refurbishments, CAT A & CAT B fit-outs and new build work.
Main Responsibilities
End-to-end project management of multiple schemes across the Commercial, Industrial and Retail sectors – including refurbishments, CAT A and CAT B fit-outs, and new build developments.
Act as the day-to-day client interface: maintaining strong relationships, setting clear expectations, and driving delivery.
Lead consultant and contractor teams; manage tendering, procurement, programming, cost control, quality assurance, health & safety and reporting.
Administer contracts (JCT / NEC), manage risk registers and project programmes, and ensure seamless coordination between design, cost and contractor stakeholders.
Support business development and client relationship growth: participate in bids, client meetings and networking, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and deepen service offering.
Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and contribute proactively to team culture.
Key Requirements
3+ years’ experience in a consultancy project management role, with proven delivery across Commercial, Industrial or Retail projects.
Hands-on experience managing refurbishments, CAT A and CAT B fit-outs, or new build schemes.
Strong contract administration knowledge (JCT / NEC) and full project-lifecycle understanding.
Excellent client-facing skills, strong communicator and able to build and maintain relationships at senior levels.
Commercially aware with a mindset for value creation and opportunity spotting.
Professional qualification (MRICS, MAPM or similar) or a clear desire to progress towards accreditation.
