A specialist organisation within the renewable energy insurance sector is looking to appoint a Loss Adjusting Analyst. The team works across complex technical claims involving renewable energy assets, combining insurance knowledge with engineering and operational insight.
This role is suited to someone who wants to build a career in loss adjusting within a growing and highly technical part of the market. You’ll start by supporting experienced adjusters and a forensic accountant, with clear progression towards managing your own portfolio of claims.
Salary: Up to £40,000 per year, plus discretionary annual bonus

Role Purpose
To provide analytical and technical support on renewable energy claims, contributing to accurate reporting, effective quantification of losses, and the smooth handling of cases from notification through to settlement.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist loss adjusters with case preparation and day-to-day claim handling
• Support a forensic accountant in reviewing and analysing business interruption information
• Produce timely and accurate claim reports
• Maintain detailed timesheets for billable activity
• Help create marketing materials and presentations to support business development
Candidate Profile
• Degree educated, ideally in an analytical field
• Interest in working towards ACII, ACILA or ACA qualifications
• Strong Excel capability and well-developed report-writing skills
• Comfortable working with data, identifying trends, and explaining findings clearly
• Keen to develop a long-term career in renewable energy insurance
• Holds a full UK driving licence and confident working at heights
