We are seeking an experienced and proactiveFire Surveyor to join a leading global construction and property consultancy. The Fire Surveyor will play a key role in supporting public and private sector clients with fire safety compliance, conducting detailed fire risk assessments, and advising on remedial actions. This is a national role with flexibility on location and the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) in accordance with PAS 79 and other relevant legislation and guidance.
Undertake fire door inspections, compartmentation surveys, and general fire safety surveys.
Provide technical reports outlining identified risks and practical recommendations for mitigation.
Advise clients on compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Building Safety Act 2022, and other relevant regulations.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure fire safety solutions are delivered effectively.
Support in the preparation of fire strategy documents and fire safety management plans.
Stay current with changes in legislation, standards, and industry best practice.
Candidate Requirements
Recognised fire safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Fire, IFE Level 3 or 4, or similar).
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fire surveying or fire risk assessments.
Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation, building regulations, and fire protection systems.
Ability to produce clear, concise, and technically accurate reports.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
Membership or working toward membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., IFE, IFSM, RICS).
