As a Tier 3 Fire Risk Assessor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality fire risk assessments and related fire safety consultancy services. You’ll work across a broad range of building types and sectors, delivering technically robust assessments, clear reporting and trusted guidance to clients in line with relevant UK fire safety legislation and British standards.
This role requires a consultative mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships. You’ll be part of an expanding fire safety team that aims to set industry benchmarks for technical competence and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver Tier 3 Fire Risk Assessments (non-intrusive plus sample dwelling inspections) across diverse property portfolios.
Conduct site inspections, interpret fire safety systems (passive and active), and evaluate compliance with statutory requirements.
Prepare clear, professional reports with actionable recommendations and prioritised action plans.
Advise clients on fire safety risk management, legal duties and best practice approaches.
Keep up to date with changes in legislation, standards and guidance relevant to fire risk assessment and building safety.
Travel regularly across the UK to support client requirements.
Skills & Experience
Proven track record in conducting Tier 3 Fire Risk Assessments or equivalent.
Recognised fire risk assessor qualifications (e.g., Tier 3/4 accredited certificates, membership of professional bodies).
Strong understanding of statutory fire safety requirements and British standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
