As part of the Domestic Major Loss team, you will manage a portfolio of complex domestic losses, typically valued in excess of £100,000. The team operates collaboratively, and while you will be confident working independently, you will be fully supported by an experienced network of major loss adjusters, along with dedicated office-based technical and managerial support.

Comprehensive systems training will be provided where required, and appropriate support is available for remote or home working.

The role includes client meetings to discuss complex and technical matters, as well as regular interaction with internal and external specialists. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders are therefore essential.

About You
You will be an experienced domestic claims adjuster, ideally holding CILA status or working towards qualification. Applications from less experienced adjusters will also be considered where strong technical capability and excellent communication skills can be demonstrated.

You will also demonstrate:
• Proven experience handling domestic losses in excess of £100,000, or a clear ambition to progress to this level
• Experience dealing with complex and major domestic losses on a chargeable time basis, or the desire and ability to step up into this space
• A strong market reputation for technical expertise and customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret information and data accurately and efficiently
• A full UK driving licence
