● Provide expert technical advice on coverage, liability, and policy interpretation.
● Ensure proactive communication with clients, brokers, and insureds, maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
● Support the business in mentoring less experienced adjusters and contributing to technical excellence within the team.
● Maintain flexibility in working hours, with occasional evening or weekend work to meet client or insured needs.
Skills and Experience Required:
● Proven experience handling major and complex commercial losses, typically in excess of £100,000.
● Strong technical expertise across commercial property, business interruption, and liability interfaces.
● Excellent knowledge of policy coverage, reinstatement practices, tendering, and cost control.
● Skilled in ABI and ADI report writing, with a sound understanding of subrogation and fraud indicators.
● Minimum qualification of Cert CILA or Cert CII, ideally progressing toward ACILA or Dip CII.
● Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and technical quality.
● Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple complex instructions to tight deadlines.
