THE ROLE
An opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Building Surveyor with ideally Insurance Reinstatement experience to join a growing team covering the East / Central Midlands.
The role will involve undertaking a wide range of building surveying and project duties, with a particular focus on insurance-related reinstatement works. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop and grow an existing service line, while building strong relationships with key clients.
You will work closely with clients, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully from inspection through to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct building condition surveys
• Undertake scoping inspections for insurance reinstatement works
• Prepare detailed technical specifications and reports
• Carry out feasibility studies
• Manage contracts and oversee project delivery
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams
• Provide technical advice and deliver high-quality surveying services
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong experience in Building Surveying and Defect Analysis
• Ability to produce detailed technical specifications
• Experience undertaking Feasibility Studies and Contract Administration
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and report writing skills
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• Ability to work autonomously within a hybrid working environment
• Professional qualifications such as MRICS or equivalent are highly desirable
